First Post

I've been wanting to try this blogging thing out for a long ass time. I think I'll remain anonymous because I'm a little paranoid and that combined with my overactive imagination could cause problems for me.

I just want to use this as a way to explore my writing capabilities and as an outlet for random thoughts and observations I have from moment to moment. Writing for a possible audience is much different than writing in a personal diary that no one else will ever see, and I want to practice writing for an audience, regardless if anyone actually reads anything. There's always the possibility.

I'm extrememly tired today at my crappy little job because I stayed out late watching a great band named Spoon play at the Hi-Tone. It was a hot and sweaty packed house. I didn't know how many people to expect because I didn't know how many Memphians knew about them. Apparently a lot. I think the band was surpised at the crowd too.

I can't wait to go home, stuff my face, and take a nap.
