Yee-haw

I have absolutely nothing to say, but I want to start posting more, so I'm guess I'll post about nothing. The office where I work is too quiet. I wish I could listen to www.kexp.org, because music alleviates the drudgery. That is an awesome indie rock radio station in Seattle. I used to listen to it day in and day out at my old job. This office is too small to listen to the radio without bothering the other people. I bought a Citzen Cope CD a few days ago, whom I first heard on KEXP. I also first heard Scissor Sisters on it. I saw them perform on Conan a few nights ago and they didn't sound so great. But they sure were dressed interestingly. Lead singer dude had on a gold lame wife beater that came down to his navel. Yee-haw.

BMG.com is has some great stuff on sale right now. I was in a hip-hop/turntable mood yesterday so I bought Jurassic-5 and Common. Oh, and Run-DMC's greatest hits. Yes, really. No, I don't have a good excuse. Yes, I know I'm certifiable.

Right now I'm listening to Janis Ian. God, I love her duet with Willie Nelson ("Memphis"). Of course, being a good old southern gal I like anything that Willie Nelson does.

How's the Citizen Cope cd?

Oh, and for the record...I *HATE* Conan.
