In just a few minutes I'll be making my way to the Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival against my better judgement. There will be plenty of top grade people watching, as the rednecks, hippies and teenagers are in their peak season here in Memphis. You know you've reached the river when you spot groups of these species sporting their mullets or dreadlocks and acting obnoxiously. A good time should be had by all.
I will be seeing the Killers later. Hopefully I won't maim or be maimed by a redneck before then. Also, saw The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy last night and it was funny. I'm not sure why they had to change the story from the book as much as they did and add in a happy ending, but it was still good.
