Welly, well, well. Somebody I know used to say that all the time. Well, welly, well, well.
As I sit here in my little cube, whiling away the rest of the work day by surfing here and there, the "Silver Spoons" theme song pops into my head. Maybe because I was reading this article about Sarah Silverman? That could explain it. "Together, we're gonna find our way. Together, something, something, something. Two silver spoons together --- me and you." I used to like that theme song so much I recorded it on my giant tape recorder to listen to it repeatedly whenever my heart so desired. I was a huge nerd. I also recorded the theme song to "Heathcliff", a cartoon about an orange cat and his pals. "Heathcliff, Heathcliff, no one should, terrorize the neighborhood." These reminisces demand a google search.
"Together" by Bob Wirth and Rik Howard
Here we are, face to face A couple of Silver Spoons.
Hopin’ to find, we’re two of a kind
Making a go, making it grow.
Together, we’re going to find our way.
Together, taking the time each day.
To learn all about those things you just can’t buy.
Two Silver spoons together. You and I together (We’re going to find our way)
You and I together (We’re going to find our way)
You and I together.
Heathcliff
Heathcliff, Heathcliff no one should terrify their neighborhood.
But Heathcliff just won't be undone playing pranks on everyone.
There's a race to be on top the competition doesn't stop.
Mixing it with the ladies man being charming debonair.
The gang will rein supreme and no one can deny.
They'll make some history and always have an alibi.
So join in the jubilee the cats are great, they'll all agree.
You'll find in each calamity the cat's superiority.
Huh, ah oh, oh ah oh, ah uh.
Huh oh ah, ah oh, oh ah oh uh uh.
Heathcliff, Heathcliff no one should terrify the neighborhood.
But Heathcliff just won't be undone you should realize he can win it with you!
