Via waiterrant, I found this very well-written article in USA Today about how CEO's of major corporations treat waiters. It reaffirms what basic common sense dictates, good people treat everyone with respect regardless of what their perceived station in life may be. It's reassuring to know that even the most powerful and successful people in the world understand and practice this philosophy. The world would be a much better place if everyone could come to this understanding.
I told a co-worker today to "Turn that frown upside down!" as a joke, but really that's the way I feel today. I'm possessed with a sickenly positive attitude that is very uncharacteristic. I'm gonna run with it and see where it goes.
